Booking Policy

Information required

Provide the breed or mix where known, approximate weight, current coat condition, complete service address, and requested service.

Disclose severe matting, prior biting during grooming, any previous need for sedation, significant mobility limits, suspected fleas or ticks, and medical or handling concerns that could affect safe grooming.

Health requirements

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required before the appointment, except for puppies 8–16 weeks old as described on the New Clients page. A minimum 48-hour interval applies after any vaccination.

Dogs with fleas or ticks are not groomed, and parasite treatment is not provided. See the Dog Safety Policy for full health, breed, and handling requirements.

Booking procedure

Add each dog in My Dogs before booking, and keep the saved information current.

Choose the dog or dogs for the visit, then select an available appointment.

Service area and service fit

The regular route covers Moon Valley, Deer Valley Village, North Mountain Village, Lookout Mountain, and Arrowhead Ranch, with ZIP guidance for 85022, 85023, 85024, 85027, 85029, 85032, 85053, 85306, 85308, and 85310.

Coat condition, requested length, health, or handling needs may change what can be completed safely at an appointment.

Availability

Available times are shown in the current booking system. Recurring maintenance clients occupy a significant portion of the schedule, so new-client openings may be limited.

If no suitable time is shown, check again as availability changes. The route and daily capacity are not extended beyond what can be completed safely and reliably.

Appointment scheduling

Only one dog is inside the salon at a time. Multiple dogs from the same address may be included in one booking and are groomed in sequence.

Some dogs take longer than others. Coat density, drying, matting, haircut work, age, and handling needs affect how long the appointment takes.

Pricing

Pricing starts with the dog’s breed and the grooming work that breed normally requires. Coat density, condition, size, and requested length can affect the work and final price. Current rates, payment conditions, and appointment-specific terms are those shown through Green Dog Grooming’s current booking and pricing information.

Cancellation

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when an appointment cannot be kept. The Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy explains the procedure.

Changes before the appointment

If the dog’s condition changes enough to affect grooming after booking—including new severe matting, illness, injury, suspected fleas or ticks, or a major handling change—contact Green Dog Grooming before the appointment. The service may need modification, postponement, or veterinary referral.

Access and parking

Safe curbside parking is required for the duration of the appointment. Disclose gates, access restrictions, parking limitations, steep approaches, low branches or structures, and any condition affecting the van.
