Find the right groom for your dog
Green Dog offers four grooming services based on coat type, density, and the work the coat actually needs. You do not have to know the technical category before you book—use the descriptions below to find the service that best matches your dog’s coat.
Four services, matched to the coat
Every appointment is private, one dog at a time, inside the Green Dog mobile salon at your curb.
Full Groom

Common examplesPoodles, Doodles, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Bichons, and Schnauzers.
IncludesBath, complete drying and brush-out, haircut or trim, nails, and ear cleaning.
Thick Double-Coated Groom
For dense or longer double coats that hold substantial loose undercoat and need extra drying and coat work.

IncludesBath, high-velocity drying, extensive undercoat removal, practical trim work, nails, and ears.
Short Double-Coated Bath & Brush
For a shorter outer coat with a soft shedding layer underneath that ordinary brushing cannot fully release.
Common examplesLabradors, Beagles, Rottweilers, Pugs, Heelers, and Shiba Inus.
IncludesBath, high-velocity drying, undercoat removal, brushing, nails, and ear cleaning.
Single-Coated Bath & Brush
For smooth or short coats with little or no soft, dense undercoat beneath the surface hair.
Common examplesBoxers, Dobermans, Greyhounds, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, and most Pit Bull types.
IncludesBath with coat-appropriate products, complete drying, currying or brushing, nails, and ears.
Included with every grooming service
Choose by coat, not just by breed
Breed gives us a starting point. The actual coat determines the service, because density, texture, shedding, condition, and grooming history determine the work.
Single coat
One smooth layer with little or no soft undercoat. The service focuses on cleaning the skin and coat and removing loose surface hair.
Double coat
A weather-resistant outer coat over a softer shedding layer. Shorter coats use the Short Double-Coated service; dense or longer coats use the Thick Double-Coated service.
Continuously growing coat
Hair that keeps growing rather than shedding through a normal coat cycle. These coats need regular clipping or scissoring in a Full Groom.
Clear pricing starts with the right category
Base pricing is organized by service category and weight. Coat density and condition can change the amount of work, so I confirm the service category before grooming begins.
