Green Dog Mobile Grooming serves a focused North Phoenix route with private, one-dog appointments. Here is what to know before you choose a service and book online.
Before you book

Confirm the route
Check that the complete service address falls within the regular North Phoenix service area.
Choose the closest service
Use the coat descriptions—not the breed label alone. I confirm the final category from the actual coat before grooming begins.
Select an available time
Appointments are booked directly through the online calendar. Multiple dogs at one address can be booked together and are groomed in sequence.

- Current coat condition and significant tangles or matting
- Relevant grooming and handling history
Home and safety
- Complete service address
- Gates, parking restrictions, steep approaches, or low branches
- Previous bites, dryer fear, pain, or mobility concerns
- Any calming medication prescribed specifically for grooming
Health requirements
Vaccinations, parasites, and coat condition
Rabies documentation
Proof of current rabies vaccination is required. A paper certificate or veterinarian copy is acceptable. Rabies is the only vaccination Green Dog requires.
Wait after vaccination
Please allow 48 hours after any vaccination before grooming. Puppies 8–16 weeks old may be groomed without vaccinations.
Fleas and ticks
Grooming must happen after veterinary treatment. I do not carry or apply flea and tick products in the van.
About matting: I do not perform prolonged, painful de-matting to save coat length. If a clipper must pass beneath tight matting, the finished haircut will be shorter than the mats. I will explain safe options before proceeding.

What happens when I arrive
Arrival and handoff
I text an estimated arrival time when I am headed to your home. Meet me outside or at the door; you may look inside the salon before grooming begins.
Private grooming
Owners do not stay inside the van. I work continuously with one dog through bathing, drying, coat work, nails, and finishing.
Return and observations
I bring your dog back and share practical coat, skin, nail, or maintenance observations from the appointment.
Payment and rebooking
Payment is due at the end. Major credit and debit cards through Square, cash, and check are accepted. Rebook online or by text.

Choose the closest coat service and an available appointment. Most maintenance schedules land around four to six weeks, adjusted for the individual coat.
