Dog Teeth Brushing
Teeth brushing with breath spray may be added to a grooming appointment for $10. It is a brief maintenance step for dogs that comfortably tolerate handling around the muzzle.
What brushing removes
Brushing is intended to remove soft surface plaque. It does not remove hardened tartar or provide cleaning below the gumline.
Cooperative handling
The mouth does not need to be forced open. Gentle access to the outer tooth surfaces is enough for the brief grooming add-on.
Easy to skip
If a dog resists muzzle handling, I skip the add-on. A $10 service is never a reason to wrestle with a dog or create unnecessary stress.
Useful home maintenance
Occasional brushing during grooming cannot replace regular home care. Use products intended for dogs and ask your veterinarian for guidance that fits your dog’s dental condition.
What this service is not
This is not veterinary dentistry. There is no scaling, diagnosis, treatment, or work below the gumline.
Visible dental concerns need a veterinarian
Hardened tartar, broken or discolored teeth, red or receding gums, pain, difficulty eating, or another oral-health concern requires veterinary evaluation. A grooming add-on does not substitute for dental care.
