Mobile Dog Grooming in North Phoenix

Your Groomer Since 2009

I’m Yvette, and I’ve been grooming dogs here since 2009. I bring my Mercedes Sprinter salon to your home for baths, deshedding, and haircuts.

Different coats need different work. A smooth single coat may need oil and loose surface hair removed. A shedding coat may need undercoat release. A continuously growing coat needs complete preparation before clipper or scissor work.

Bath: I use professional iGroom shampoo and conditioner selected for the coat and its visible condition.
Rinse and dry: I rinse your dog’s coat thoroughly and dry it by hand, without a cage dryer. Drying removes moisture and loose hair before brushing or a haircut.
Finish: I handle nails, ears, brushing, deshedding, carding, trimming, or haircut work as appropriate for your dog’s coat and appointment.

Smooth single coats are bathed and dried to lift oil and loose surface hair. Double coats are dried with high-velocity airflow, then brushed and carded to release loose undercoat. Continuously growing coats are fully dried and comb-checked before clipper or scissor work.

More than a bath

When I groom a Golden Retriever, much of the work is in the undercoat, drying, brushing, and final coat finish. The bath cleans the coat, but the dryer and brush work determine how polished the result looks and feels.

Small dogs still need detail

For a small dog with a continuously growing coat, I select shampoo and conditioner for the coat, rinse thoroughly, dry and comb-check it, then complete the nail, clipper, and scissor work.

Why Green Dog Grooming is green

A quieter way to power the grooming salon

My van carries its own fresh water and greywater tanks, and the grooming equipment is powered while parked by a LiFePO4 lithium battery bank and Victron inverter system rather than a grooming generator. The Sprinter itself is diesel-powered; the battery system powers the salon equipment during the appointment.

What to expect

I text when I am heading to your home. Once the van is parked, I will greet you and your dog at your front door or front porch. I walk your dog into the salon for a one-on-one grooming appointment. I return your dog when the groom is finished and let you know about anything useful I noticed with the coat, skin, or nails.

Parking matters

The Sprinter is 9 feet 7 inches tall and needs a safe, legal place to remain parked for the appointment. If your street has low branches, gates, apartment parking rules or limited turnaround space, include that information when booking.
