Appointment day
What to expect when I arrive
I text when I am on the way
I will send an estimated arrival time before I reach your address.
I meet you at the door or van
Bring your dog out, or I can meet you at the front door. You are welcome to look inside the grooming salon before I begin.
Your dog is groomed privately
I groom one dog at a time and stay with that dog through the appointment. Dogs from the same household are groomed one after another.
The appointment
What I do depends on your dog
Depending on the breed and coat, the appointment may be a bath and brush or a Full Groom.
I assess the coat when I arrive
I check your dog’s coat and ask about any changes since the last groom. Matting, pain, or trouble standing may mean we need a different plan.
I explain any change to the plan
If the coat or the dog’s condition changes the usual plan, I will explain it before I continue.
Inside the van
A complete grooming salon at your curb
Everything needed for the appointment
I bring my own water, power, and grooming equipment. Used bathwater stays in a separate tank and leaves with me.
Return and payment
When the groom is finished, I bring your dog back and share anything useful I noticed about the coat, skin, or nails. Payment is due at the end of the appointment.
Safety comes first: Mobile grooming is professional grooming, not veterinary care. A dog must be able to tolerate routine grooming and ordinary handling. I may modify or stop an appointment if continuing would be unsafe or too stressful for the dog.
