Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Procedure

Use the contact method provided with the appointment information, or call 623-340-6642. Include the client’s name, dog’s name, and appointment details.

When rescheduling, the next suitable opening depends on both route availability and the grooming time the dog requires.

Coat maintenance after a delay

Curly and wavy coats become harder to maintain as the interval extends, especially when brushing and combing do not match the length. Dense shedding coats carry more loose undercoat, and nails continue growing.

If the coat becomes significantly tangled or matted, contact Green Dog before the new appointment because the haircut or service plan may need to change.

Illness, injury, and medical concerns

If a dog becomes unwell, is injured, develops a painful skin condition, or may not be safe for ordinary grooming, make contact before the appointment.

Green Dog provides grooming—not veterinary treatment. The visit may need postponement until grooming is safe or a veterinarian has evaluated the concern.

Fleas and ticks

Dogs presenting with fleas or ticks are not groomed, and parasite treatment is not provided. Contact Green Dog before the appointment so scheduling can follow veterinary treatment.

Access and route impediments

If the van cannot safely access or park at the service address, the appointment may require rescheduling. Communicate changes involving gates, parking, construction, low clearance, or other access conditions as early as practical.
