A quick fit check
Is Mobile Grooming a Good Fit for Your Dog?
The best fit is a dog who can be groomed safely with ordinary professional handling—and a household that values a private, continuous appointment at home.

Likely a good fit
Six questions to ask before booking
Is your address on the route?
The regular route covers Moon Valley, Deer Valley Village, North Mountain Village, Lookout Mountain, and Arrowhead Ranch.
Can your dog tolerate routine handling?
Bathing, drying, brushing, nail work, safe table handling, and some standing are part of normal grooming.
Can the van park safely?
The 9-foot-7-inch Sprinter needs practical curbside parking without low branches, structures, or unusual access hazards.
Does a coat category fit?
Choose the closest of four coat-based services. Breed is a starting point; the actual coat determines the work.
Do you want a one-on-one appointment?
Owners may see the salon before handoff but do not remain inside while I groom.
Are you ready for regular upkeep?
Many dogs do well every four to six weeks, though the best interval depends on the coat and home maintenance.
A different setting may be safer
When mobile grooming is not the right match
Veterinary or specialized handling needs
I do not provide veterinary sedation, veterinary restraint, diagnosis, or medical treatment. Pain, open sores, suspected infection, recent surgery, or an injury may need veterinary care first.
Unsafe or overwhelming stress
If a dog becomes overly stressed or unsafe to handle, I may modify or stop the groom instead of forcing completion.
Breed, size, or coat limitations
I do not accept Akitas or Chow Chows. Very large dogs, exceptionally dense coats, or needs beyond what the mobile salon can safely manage may require another setting.
Severe matting expectations
I do not perform prolonged, painful de-matting to preserve length. A clipper must pass beneath tight matting, so the finished coat will be shorter than the mats.
Medication prescribed for grooming
If your veterinarian has prescribed calming medication specifically for grooming, disclose that in advance so I can plan safely.
Current rabies documentation
Proof of current rabies vaccination is required before grooming, with a 48-hour wait after any vaccination.
